[NEWS] 09/04/09 - SS501 goes USA again on 06-May…Working on official album released in July

SS501 will leave for USA again for 10 days from 06-May for the preparation of their official 2nd album.

For their official album set to be released in July, SS501 had already went to USA some time in March and met with famous producer Andrew Lane and Steven Lee to work on their new album.

SS501 will meet with composers and producers during this upcoming trip and will start working on their songs. During their visit to the USA, they will also have a promotional activity there. Henceforth, they have planned to gauge if it is possible for them to break into USA music scene. However, the company said regarding to enter into the USA music scene during this 2nd album activities “We do not have any definite confirmation. We are only at the stage of planning and preparing for it.”

SS501’s company’s representative said “SS501 will release their official 2nd album in July and holds their local concert at the same time. With that, they will also have an Asia Tour including Japan, China, Taiwan, etc. In the later half of the year, they would be preparing for their own individual activities.” So from summer of 2009 onwards, SS501 will have all directional activities as a group and solo.

SS501 made their solo activities, Kim HyunJoong who became an actor through KBS 2TV ‘Boys Over Flowers’, Kim HyungJoon Kim KyuJong Heo YoungSaeng as a unit, Park JungMin in musical ‘Grease’. They are working on their album after Kim HyunJoong’s drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’ ended.
